Elvis-A-Rama Museum

The Elvis-A-Rama Museum is one of the top 3 attractions in a city that never sleeps. It features more than 2000 items from the King of Rock and Roll. Among some of the items here, which you can see when you visit with your luxury car rental, are Elvis’ 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II, a 1969 Mercedes Benz limousine, the original Blue Suede Shoes, and the famous Peacock and Phoenix jumpsuits. This was one of the first audio-visual Elvis experiences, before the famed Graceland was opened to the public. This is an experience not to be missed by Elvis fans.

Elvis embodied the Vegas lifestyle for a period of time – he was all about putting on a good show for the enjoyment of the crowd, much like Vegas does. You can only get closer to the King if you go to Memphis. The first time Elvis performed in Vegas in 1956, he got less than stellar reviews. But he returned there eleven years later to marry Priscilla at the Aladdin Hotel. In 1969 he performed again in Las Vegas at the International Hotel to rave reviews. He continued to perform here for 637 shows, breaking the record for the number of sold-out shows. All of this information is detailed at the Elvis-A-Rama Museum as you explore Elvis’ life as soon as you leave your luxury car rental.

All Shook Up

Every day except for Sunday there is a show at 2 or 4 that is a tribute to Elvis. It covers his music from the 50s, his movies, his 1968 comeback special, and the “Jumpsuit” years of the 1970s. The two performers, Donny and Justin, are happy to put on an excellent show for viewers before they return to the hotel in their luxury car rental. You can either see the show alone or explore the museum before and after the show.

Directions

The museum is located just off the Strip on Industrial Road, if you are taking your luxury car rental. You can take Spring Mountain Road and turn right onto Industrial Road or take Desert Inn Road and turn left onto Industrial Road until you reach the Elvis-A-Rama Museum.

So why not “Viva Las Vegas” and head down to the Elvis-A-Rama Museum with your luxury car rental to see one of the largest Elvis collections outside of Graceland in a city that the King himself loved to perform in. The Museum is a great place for new and old Elvis fans to see what it was like to attend a concert of the King, even if it is only by an impersonator. What better place to do it than one of the cities with the most Elvis impersonators per capita? Come down to the Elvis-A-Rama Museum with your luxury car rental to take in a concert and a tour before you hit the strip.
